Another summer make ☀️

After being stuck in a bit of a sewing rut I've really enjoyed trying out some new sewing patterns and using different fabric bases.

This design by has been printed on 100% cotton by and was dreamy to sew.

When I saw this .illustrates design I knew I wanted to make something really summery - it's so colourful!

The bottoms are biker shorts and the top is a bit of a mash up - a boho romper made into a top with added sleeve flutters.

It was my recent entry to the rep competition and I can't wait to see it on my little one this summer 😍

When this fabric arrived from I knew I needed to make something special and here's the finished result - an outfit so beautiful I might have to retire from sewing as nothing will ever top it 😂

I normally use an overlocker as I mainly sew with stretchy jersey fabric but this make was all about the sewing machine. It took me far longer than I'd like to admit but I really enjoyed taking my time and trying a few new things, like ruffles 😍

P.S I still haven't added the button holes and buttons but I have absolutely no chill and couldn't wait to post these pictures 😂

It's half term so at least one child is attached to me 24/7 and I have no time to sew, so here's one I made earlier (for the baby who has so many outfits but only ever wears shop bought baby grows/her brother's hand me downs) 🙈

I have so many sewing patterns but I keep going back to these dungarees because they're just so versatile (and quick to make).

I love how well these designs from have printed on to the corduroy and denim bases - now I just have to get my kids to wear them 😅
