The wonderful community of Narin & Portnoo came out in full force today to support the people of Gaza, who continue to endure unimaginable suffering as the genocide continues.

🌊 Local swimmers braved the chilly Atlantic
🧁 Delicious baked treats were eaten
🏖️ Kids made sand art and played games

By sheer luck and geography, our children get to live this life, and will never have to experience the horror of growing up in a war zone.

All funds raised will go to Children Not Numbers .

Thanks to the lovely folks for hosting the foundation for their ‘Where does Colour travel’ workshop 🧶🎨
A playful exploration of colour use in textiles, inspired by the work of visionary modernist designer Bernat Klein. Mesmerised by some of the painterly weaves inspired by pointillist painters like Seurat & Signac.
Topped off with a fantastic tour around Donegal yarns to see the very complex and involved journey of raw wool to yarn! 🐏 ⛰️🌊

🌊 The fantastic Bonners pub in Kinncasslagh. Friendly barman. Cosy dark wood snugs everywhere. Battered green velvet upholstered seats.
No beating an Italian food market. Radicchio like pink crumpled silk 💕
🌿 Exquisite Boboli Gardens in Florence
🖋️ Did some damage in The most beautiful paper shop showcasing some of Florence’s ancient marbling & block printing techniques.

🏛️Florentine Duomo followed by more delicious pasta
👡 Beautiful raffia sampling at the very cool More on that later!
🏛️Back to Rome for some Colosseum gazing & some of the tastiest pizza I’ve ever gobbled 🍕

I’ve worn RUSSET and SAGE to 4 weddings over the past year or two and find it a super easy & comfortable wear. Plus it’s great for using as a pillow in the taxi home. Very squishy ☁️☁️
