May 14th 1922, 104 yrs ago today , Dublin won their 3rd All Ireland hurling title beating Cork in the 1920 final. A war-torn victory, delayed by 2 years due to the War of Independence , Dublin won coached by the late, great patriot, Harry Boland.
The jersey worn by the team, issued @ request of the Boland family, is available now .
It carries the match scoreline, the year 1920, and the original Dublin crest with 3 turrets ablaze. Around 400 years old, the turrets ablaze symbolize the passionate defence of Dublin by its people during attacks.
