Hi Guys, I am a small optical retail business man. I have started my new store on 1st April, 2023. To promote and grow my business, I have started my Google Ads from 21st May, 2023 (before 19 months). I am sharing here my case study and will share my details on weekly basis now onwards to save small businesses like me from getting scammed by Google.
In the beginning I did not monitor my Ad performance but when I did check my spending, I was surprised to see that there was a very less number of client walk-in to the store but the Impressions, Google Clicks, Map Clicks, Local Actions & Calls were in a great number. Actual numbers are not matching to given detail on campaign dashboard & list. I have attached all images highlighted all points on it for clarity.
See below details for the period of 12-18 January 2025 (One week):
1) Total Impressions: 25.7 K
2) Total Clicks: 131 (0.05% of the impressions)
- Actual clicks details available: 89
- Missing clicks : 42 (32.06%)
3) Total Value Spend: ₹2,095.77
- Actual click value details available: ₹1,463.85
- Missing click value: ₹631.92 (30.15%)
4) Irrelevant keyword clicks: 24 (18.32%)
5) I have not included "Negative Theme Keywords" clicks but will do it from the next post.
I have been requesting Google to take my concerns seriously and take action on my case study. My ticket number is : [7-4598000037838] which has been closed yesterday.
