Elle Sustainable Issue April May 2026 🤎

Wohhhhooooo! I wish could post happy dancing emoji but ok , so am very happy and very excepted to thank for giving this opportunity. We been trying to put something together for while and Finlay landed with heaviest piece ever made.

Important thing this vest is designed and concept came from me but the person who made is Sunita my mother and becoming codesigner. Must mention this

Well life is good if you don’t hurt people, so let’s do that, life is nicer when you are cool but not a bitch, life be sweet when you won’t mind eating any vegetables, life be kinder if you ain’t lier to yourself,
life be looking at you every day and will rewrite for you, so act wisely my young friends and eat fruits instead of diet soda

The first dress I ever made. 🦢
Most troubled time gave the most softest look!

Using single long 5 meter fabric without any cutting just folded and stiched with bare hands.

There is lot of fight happening here with fabric and gravity but nothing threads x threads can hold. :)

Took 2 stormey years to share this! A garment inspired by patterns formed from animal hide 🐾✨

My first-ever reversible, zero-waste garment crafted from a unique pattern with multiple wearable iterations 🔄

The pattern is derived from the shape of animal hide 🦌. The idea was to create a “skin” for humans in the form of a garment, just as animals’ hide is their natural garment 🐻👕—a hybrid link connecting animals and humans.

Their (animal) skin = their garment
Their skin = hide
Hence, their hide = their garment
Their (animal) garment = our (human) garment

Here, I’m not promoting the use of animal skin (which I wouldn’t mind 🧐) but rather delving into the forms and shapes we can extract as designers.

The women’s in my family are the leading force.
In my big and extended family I have evidenced women’s leading the entire family. I have been raised by 3-4 women’s Becouse of complex past and household situations and let me tell you! These women have shaped me and my brother into most compassionate and strong individuals.
It would have been never possible with father.

They say women makes their son soft with love and kindness and food. Somewhere, All these aspects considered weak but they are most powerful nature we could have asked for.

My mother, my big mother, my dadi ji, my nani, my dozen Bua ji and my sisters, and my college faculties. All these people have different stories and I am so fortune to share part in their stories. They have showed such great resilience, courage, strong heart, purity, hope, innocence, kindness so much more.. that I feel very fortunate to be brought up by women or only lived in household of just women’s.

Although, Person like me can be considered sensitive or something but damn it takes lots of courage to be sensitive, to share and to show fragile sides of us. Only if all man could be little more fragile and not stone! They would probably live longer :).
But I come from stupid man family.

So thanks to mothers for giving what all you can and it surely is worth million bucks.

In picture you can see me with my Nani. She is mother of 7. She lives almost all alone. She has no friends in village ( she is kinda like that ). She love planting flowers. This time we meet we planted few plants and in meantime I made these 3 painting. Her home is so silent. The walls colours are fading. So whenever my mother goes she deep clean the whole house. Then some other masi comes they also does same. And somehow this particle of taking care in interval in going on for years.

These paints are my contribution to brighten the place with interesting visuals so she can also have different site of view. Something to entertain the eyes.
