Some places don’t just touch your heart… they turn your heart into poetry. ❤️
Whenever I come to our second home, Amar Bari, Shantiniketan, I feel something deeply beautiful stirring within me.
I named my home here “UMA”—and every time I return, I feel as if I am returning to my roots. ❤️
There is something magical about this place—where art doesn’t merely exist; it seems to breathe in every corner. 🌿🎨
The red earth, the open skies, the gentle breeze, the trees and winding pathways… everything seems to carry an echo of Rabindranath Tagore’s timeless spirit.
And perhaps that is why, whenever I am here, I feel irresistibly drawn towards art.
So, this time, I chose to recite a poem by one of my favourite poets, Rabindranath Tagore—his timeless poem “Mukti” (মুক্তি) from Naibedya, Poem No. 30. ❤️
Through this recitation, I offer a small tribute to my love for Performing Arts—
beyond boundaries, beyond limitations, and beyond words.
Because for me, Art is never merely a performance.
It is an emotion.
It is a journey.
It is a form of expression.
And above all… it is a way of life. 🎭❤️
And Shantiniketan?
Perhaps it is one of those rare places where every corner whispers poetry, every breeze carries music, and every moment inspires art. ✨
Here, I don’t just perform art.
I feel it.
I live it. ❤️
