New on the blog.
In the last 12 months, Indian fabric has done what two decades of trade-show pitches could not. Indian weaves and motifs are now opening Paris couture shows, shaping Louis Vuitton collections, and walking every major global red carpet from Cannes to the Met Gala.
But here is the part that matters for fabric buyers and designers. Indian textile and apparel exports hit US$ 36.61 billion in FY 2024-25, with apparel growing over 10%. Bharat Tex 2025 pulled in 6,000 international buyers. The UK-India trade agreement opened zero-duty access on 99% of textile tariff lines. The EU and US deals followed.
For a working mill like ours in Ichalkaranji, this changes everything. What we make, who we make it for, and how fast we move.
Read the full blog where our Director writes about the three shifts already happening on our floor, including our move into linen blend bulk production and modern Indian motifs in dobby and jacquard.
