I sat down with the incredible weavers who keep an ancient art alive with their bare hands.Every click of the loom felt like a heartbeat.It is impossible to stand here and not feel the presence of Rajmata Ahilya Bai Holkar. Over two centuries ago, she didn't just start a handloom journey—she gave birth to a lifeline of dignity, independence, and art for women.Meeting these weavers is my humble tribute to her 301st birth anniversary. Our Maheshwari sarees aren't just fabric. They are the sweat, soul, and survival of our heritage. Hamari Ma, Ahilya Bai, your vision still clothes the world in grace. 🙏🏽❤️
