This year, on our wedding anniversary, we visited the Umananda Temple — a beautiful shrine located on a small island in the middle of the Brahmaputra. Dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, the temple stands as a reminder that relationships endure through faith, patience, and mutual respect. Despite age and health challenges, we travelled all the way from Kolkata to spend this special day together. The gentle river breeze, the boat ride, and the temple’s serene atmosphere filled our hearts with peace and renewed strength.
I’m also deeply grateful to my cousins and their better halves who joined us on this trip. Their presence turned the journey into something truly special — filled with laughter, fun, and a flood of nostalgia. Revisiting old memories while creating new ones made this anniversary celebration all the more meaningful. ❤️
We also explored the lush green beauty of Pobitora, with its vibrant landscape and tranquil charm. Walking through the serene wilderness with our loved ones was an experience to cherish — a perfect blend of nature, togetherness, and gratitude.
