I am truly delighted and proud to be a part of this special pre-wedding journey of Kushal and Komal.

What makes this story even more special is that, despite being an NRI couple, they chose their birthplace, Kolkata, to begin this beautiful new chapter of their lives. Starting their married life surrounded by the memories, culture, and emotions of their hometown is something truly meaningful and inspiring.

First and foremost, a heartfelt thank you to Kushal for sharing these beautiful pre-wedding moments with us. It is always a privilege to be trusted with such precious memories, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of their journey.

This customized couple ensemble has been created on rich deep navy-blue handloom silk, beautifully adorned with antique gold resham embroidery, zari detailing, and a thoughtful blend of integrated machine and manual craftsmanship. The delicate leaf-inspired motifs create a luxurious visual appeal while maintaining an elegant balance between tradition and contemporary fashion. Since the outfit is not entirely handcrafted, it remains highly budget-friendly without compromising on beauty, sophistication, or craftsmanship.

For the bride, we designed a customized ready-to-wear saree that eliminates the hassle of pleating and draping. One of the most distinctive features of this design is the double pallu concept—one traditional pallu paired with an additional draped pallu that creates a regal and graceful silhouette, adding depth and elegance to the overall look.

For Kushal, the Indo-Western groom’s outfit has been carefully designed keeping the preferences of the modern generation in mind. The ensemble combines a traditional Punjabi with a flowing draped shawl, a ready-made dhoti pant, and contemporary styling elements that perfectly balance Bengali heritage with modern fashion sensibilities.

As a designer, there is immense satisfaction in seeing an idea transform into a beautifully finished creation. I am extremely happy with how this ensemble has come together and how elegantly it reflects the personalities of the couple.
