They began with a blank piece of paper and one, single machine. The duo set out to fulfill their destiny - to give the Indian fashion industry a taste of traditional fashion that was luxurious and at the same time affordable. In 2011,
all roads led to KORA. A brand built on the foundations of all the fashion values Nilesh and Mitesh swore by. KORA is a brand that offers the highest quality traditional wear, exclusively for men. The designs, have been redefining industry standards and incorporate unseen fusions of traditional craft and contemporary haute couture in Men's fashion. Designer Duo Nilesh and Mitesh entered the industry at a time when it was divided - between the super high-end celebrity designers that the common man couldn't afford or relate to and the unorganized sector which was inexpensive but lacked that flair. With NM fashion, they liberated people from this lack of choice and gave them luxury traditional fashion that was affordable. NM Fashion became the go-to name for the fashion-conscious as well as the quality-conscious. But the journey didn't stop here. The designer duo had the version to create a brand. A brand that lives beyond their names and becomes a fashion institution unto itself. Both NM Fashion and KORA and every other brand bearing their signature, exude their love of craftsmanship. The brand offers quality traditional wear for men, that's fashion-forward and at the same time rooted in culture. These attributes reflect in all their creations, be it Sherwani, Bandhgalas, Kurtas, Bandis, and more for men and boys alike. Or even in their Bespoke Tailoring where fine fabrics meet the finest in craftsmanship to give you custom-fit Suits, Tuxedos, and casual blazers. The first exclusive KORA store opened in S.V Road in Santacruz. From that day, there was no looking back. Year after year, brand KORA unfurled flags on its kingdom in various cities. While Kora made its mark in cities across India and Internationally, the brand still kept Mumbai at its heart. And as an ode to the city of dreams, Mumbai got its second exclusive KORA store in Borivali. Making KORA set the precedent in Men's fashion for all of Western Mumbai.
2019 saw brand KORA cross the shores and open its first-ever international store, in the city of Dubai. The exclusive store opened its doors to the fashion-forward men of Dubai to add more glitz to the city gilded by gold.
