“Can I have just one more toy?”

It’s a question almost every parent has heard.

Thousands of years ago, King Yayati asked himself the same thing but with palaces, treasures, and riches.

No matter how much he had, it never felt like enough.

Then one day, he realized something life-changing:

Wanting more doesn’t fill the heart.

Gratitude does.

That’s why we’re creating this series - to help parents answer everyday questions through the timeless wisdom of our scriptures.

When your child asks for “just one more,” don’t make it only about saying no. Help them pause and notice what they already have. Gratitude is a habit that grows through small, everyday conversations.
