As a small business owner and designer, a lot of my time goes into photographing and editing my products. No matter how high-end your camera is, it’s always a challenge to capture the true colours of these fabrics. Each screen displays shades differently depending on its calibration, making it even trickier.

This particular saree has a beautiful washed-off shade of pink — and believe me, I spent almost an hour editing the picture just to get the colour as close to reality as possible.
