Ratimaatram- A q***r Story

A little spark flickered between them both. The eyes of one filled with burning passion, desire and adoration, while the other's filled with reluctance and hesitancy. What was it that was in the other's mind and heart? Society would condemn her for desiring another like her, she must have thought!
But, deep within the corners of their hearts, they both knew that the sentiments were shared. Their souls had always been reaching out to one another. The only thing, though, that kept them apart was that one had ascertained that love could never be q***r to be true.
But what was the world to say if she felt it too? And for how long, tell me, for how long would she deny that it was never what society wanted for women that she wanted for herself? Or that it was never the heart and touch of a man that she longed for, but it was that, and only that of a woman that would complete her? Without warning as a butterfly transforms itself, love shook her heart with all its might. She too, like the butterfly, transformed into the lover she had always wanted to be. She succumbed to each emotion and desire she had always turned down.
And in that very moment, she broke the chains society had tied to her body, hands and feet. She forgot what society had always wanted her to remember - a woman should never love any, but a man. But, what was gender to do anyway, with love, an emotion so pure, gifted to us by the divine Themselves?
