Hiring for a Fashion Designer for Classic Curves Designer Boutique By Tanya!! (Experience in ethnic and bridal wear preferred)
Role Objective: To Come up with concepts for designing/ prototyping edgy, fashionable yet commercially viable designs keeping the timelines and option plan in mind and contribute towards our Brand establishment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Research & Concept Creation:
- Fashion Forecast & Trend Analysis:
- To identify & forecast trends & themes.
2. Conceptualization and Presentation: -
- To present the global fashion trends for the season supported by silhouette/fabric/trims/color/print/surface ornamentation direction after an intensive research with the aid of design search engines.
3. Market & Consumer Research:
- To visit various stores to understand designs and competitions.
- To Organize all new input for working on the new season.
4. Design and Creation:
- Final Trend: To make brand specific trend presentation showcasing final themes, master color palette, silhouette/ fabric/trims/color/print/surface techniques direction for the season along with supportive inspirational samples, trims & fabrics.
1. Affluent in excel to provide details of the entire collection for internal workflow.
2. Fabric/Trim To make fabric/trim boards based on
CLASSIC CURVES final trends along with suggested styles/bodies for each one of them to finalize the fabrics options.
1. Should be comfortable in travelling within the city and beyond for sourcing purpose.
2. Sampling & Approvals
- Tech packs: To make & handover tech-packs based on story boards.
- CAD Development- Developing CADs according to the storyboards
- Experience- 0-1 years in women's PREMIUM ethnic wear category.
- Qualification- Bachelors in Fashion Design
- Should be very strong in embroideries and value addition.
- Creative bend of mind with strong aesthetic sense and keen commercial eye.
- Experience working on / directing artworks & prints Reaction to trends: ability to adapt styles and update styles with current trends, where relevant
