Here at rabab silk, we strive to create a wide variety of sarees, dupattas and suits.
Most of our pieces are created at our own workshop, where we take care of not only creating
the garments from scratch but the fabrics as well!
Depending upon the ongoing market trend, we set about creating a design for the garment itself.
Once we have the design ready with us, we start the production process by creating the design
graph first, on chart paper. Once the graph has been readied, a design card is punched out
which is then slotted into the powerloom. Once the powerloom has been prepped with the
threads and design card, the garment is then made.
While most of the original pieces with new designs can take one week or more, if we have the
design pattern ready with us, then a garment can also be created in just two to three hours!
But how did we get started? Started by my grandfather several years ago, SDFFashion is a
family venture which is now being looked after and taken to new heights by myself and my
brother
