Creativity is a continuous emotional change that’s why we realize limited editions of ‘happy few’ items. Our atelier works each piece as a ‘pièce unique’, implementing new te

chniques and recovering the ancient ones. Time is the most valuable thing: every bag takes dozens of hours to be realized. I’m Margherita, the founder and creative director of IMEMOI. I grew up between Italy and France surrounded by art and beauty. After attending the Ecole Supérieure des Arts et Techniques de la Mode, I worked as assistant stylist for the major fashion editor at Condé Nast Publication. In Paris and Milan, I collaborated with several luxury brands. Travels have been a big focus in my upbringing making my universe full of different influences: a well done ‘fritto misto’. Constantly driven by my instinct, I always felt proudly different. I would never wear something I already saw on someone else. Fashion is not just putting clothes on but telling a story, presenting yourself in a certain way, giving your opinion and assuming your identity. I’m a compulsive creative, always conceiving new ideas and new concepts. Avoid repetition, that's the mantra. I hate wastage and I respect the precious resources we have, trying to preserve this world for the future generations and my marvelous son Celestino. That’s why the most of our resources come from upcycling process.Please enjoy the visit and take your time to desire and to dare!
