Meet our founder: Lauren Linnane



A decade in corporate finance, a move to Milan, and years spent building the right relationships before her first collection launched in 2025.

Suiting for women has always meant two choices: off the rack, or a men’s tailor making do. Lauren built PARLA to close that gap.

Made in Italy, Made for Her. Every piece custom to the client, from fabric to buttons to fit.

BTS of how Lau designed our contemporary blazer.

All of our pieces are custom or bespoke. The sizing, fabric composition, and color selections shown are different for every client.

Every PARLA garment is as unique as the woman wearing it.

Lau ‘s vision was to create a contemporary 3-piece suit for women inspired by her decade long career working in corporate finance. She wanted a design that was appropriate for the office but fun to wear for any occasion.

For a unique and subtle twist, Lauren removed the lapel and the button sleeve from the jacket for a subtle nod to casual but still appropriate to wear for occasions that require a sport coat or full suit.

This design was created by Lauren in 2022 but went through many interactions as she tested samples with various suppliers in Italy. It wasn’t until 2025 when Lauren found a high tailor in Milan that could deliver the high quality and construction she was looking to offer her clients.

Pictured on the left was the first simple sketch displaying her idea. Pictured on the right is the first sample she ever had made back in 2022. The photo was taken at the first fitting in Italy in summer of 2022.

After a multi-years long search, Lauren found a high tailor in Milan and she was able to reconstruct a sample of much higher quality and construction.

This photo is of the first sample made by the new high tailor Lauren found in Milan, a women led atelier with over 40+ years of producing luxury garments Made in Italy.

In the sample making process we opt to use fabric to test the designs before we finalize them to see what elements need changing before perfecting the final result.

The finished product with an exterior fabric composed of 100% wool Made in Italy with a cupro lining.

In this photo you can see the effect of rolling the sleeves with ease without the complications of undoing buttons. An intentional design detail made by Lauren.

The inside of the jacket is just as important as the outside.

External and internal functioning pockets are a must for our clients.
