Yule invites stillness, honesty, and a quiet reckoning.

Not to judge the past year, but to understand it.
To recognize which habits, roles, and expectations once protected us — and which now simply weigh us down.

Tonight I’ll be able to watch Lili Refrain perform again.
And every time it’s the same short-circuit: this is not music, it’s a ritual. A threshold that flips your inner frequency.

Some time ago I designed for her one of the most powerful +VESTIS+ I’ve ever created — maybe because I didn’t choose the symbols alone; she chose them with me.
Lili carries a deep, almost archaic understanding of symbolism, and an impressive knowledge of entomology.

Inside that +vestis+ live two very precise presences:

• The dragonfly – the primordial Meganeura: a liminal creature that moves between water, air and light. A symbol of rapid metamorphosis, sharp vision, and the ability to cut through illusion without losing centre.
• The fern – an ancient plant, vegetal memory of the prehistoric world. Shadow, regeneration, cyclic return. A silent kind of protection that guards more than it reveals.

That +vestis+ became a tribute to what Lili embodies: a rare creature, almost impossible to define, who feels as if she stepped out of Mater’s inner landscapes — or maybe we are the ones wandering in hers.

I can’t wait to dive into her performance again, see her on stage, and hug her.
Those who have seen her live already know.
