MADE FROM PLANE, MADE TO TRAVEL
JALとのコラボレーションにより、ボーイング737-800型機の主翼先端の金属を使用した新コレクションを発表いたします。このコレクションは羽田空港第1ターミナル1階の「JAL PLAZA 羽田空港 FLIGHT SHOP」でお買い求めいただけます。
We are excited to announce the launch of our new collection created in collaboration with Japan Airlines, made from the metal of the tip of the main wing from a BOEING 737-800 airplane. This collection is available for purchase at JAL PLAZA FLIGHT SHOP on 1st floor of Haneda International Airport(Tokyo) Terminal 1.
飛行機の機体は日々厳しいチェックを受け、定期的に役目を終えたパーツを交換しながら大空を飛び続けます。
そして、廃棄処分される資材は長い旅の記憶を抱え、静かに工場の片隅でたたずんでいます。
そんな役目を終えた資材を、新しくアクセサリーによみがえらせました。
小さな飛行機のモチーフは、交換により廃棄されるアルミ素材です。
Airplane fuselages undergo rigorous checks on a daily basis and continue to fly in the sky, periodically replacing parts that have outlived their usefulness.
The materials to be disposed of stand quietly in a corner of the factory with memories of their long journey.
We have revived such materials that have finished their roles into new accessories.
The small airplane motifs are aluminum material that will be discarded through replacement.
