本日はショートブーツ用ケース(桐製)が完成しました。
昨年秋はロングブーツ用のケースを製作、パリコレに旅立ちましたが、さて、今度はブーツと一緒にどちらに連れてってくれるのでしょうか？楽しみです。

きものリメイクMOIRA新アイテムプロトタイプ完成！
かねてよりご案内していた新アイテムのプロトタイプが完成しました。仮想ユーザーを氷川きよしさんとして、きもの（振袖）をアップサイクルさせたジャンパーです。シルエット、文様（柄合わせ）、裏地、リブ、ファスナー、ポケットの中にもきもの生地などなど、沢山の拘りを詰め込んだ意欲作です。プロトタイプとはいいながら販売可能な仕上がりになってます。
このモデルの販売予定はありませんが、ご本人からオファーが来たら二つ返事で差し上げちゃうと思います　笑

2022年12月7日新潟日報経済面に当ブランドMOIRAのことが紹介されました。今まであまりお伝えしてこなかったブランド設立の経緯やブランドネームの由来なども掲載されてます。

本日はきもの・反物からリメイクシャツができるまでをご紹介します。

①仕入れ
シャツのベースとなるきものや反物の仕入れをします。
「このきもの・反物はどんな歴史や風景を見てきたんだろう」「商品として仕立てたらどんな感じになるだろう」と想いを馳せつつ、じっくり時間をかけてきものを選んでいます。
「どんな人に似合うだろう？」だけでなく、「どんな人ならこの生地の歴史を受け入れてくれるだろう」「どんな人なら新しい歴史を刻んでくれるだろう」とも考えながら行ってます。
つくる側として、とても楽しい時間でもあります。

②ほどき
仕入れたきものをほどきます。
なかなか根気が必要で、ほどく＝分解で、きものとしての役割を終えてもらうことになるのですが、その先にあるリメイクの工程を考えるとワクワクします。
ほどくことよって改めてわかることですが、きものをほどくとまっすぐな生地に戻ります。つまり再生が容易な状態になります。先人たちの知恵には驚くばかりです。

③クリーニング
丁寧にクリーニングを施します。
リサイクル生地である以上、とれないシミ・汚れが残ることもあります。
それも含め、歴史の証人としてお楽しみいただけたら嬉しいです。
また、クリーニングのあとは生地の風合いが失われないよう丁寧にアイロンがけを行います。

※商品のシミ・汚れは可能な限り販売する時点でご案内します。

④裁断
MOIRA仕様の型紙で生地を裁断します。
柄合わせ、レイアウトについてはこちらの希望と現場の意見（生地の状態）を掛け合わせ、そのシャツにふさわしい雰囲気になるよう努めています。

⑤裁縫
縫製します。
日本屈指のオーダーシャツ縫製工場での仕立ては、縫製精度の高さゆえ実現できる繊細なノウハウに溢れています。
結果、MOIRA独自の美しいシルエットを生み出しています。

⑥完成
きものリメイクシャツが完成しました。
基本的に一枚のきもの・反物からつくれるシャツは一点のみです。
（稀に複数つくれる場合もあります）

撮影地の一ヶ所はMOIRAのシャツ縫製をお願いしている、フェールムラカミさんです。
ブランディングムービーの撮影時にもご協力いただきました。

モデルのお二方には撮影前に工場見学をしてもらいました。
質問も交えながら真剣に見学されていました💡

一見派手で着こなすのが難しそうな柄でも、外では緑の風景と相まってカッコよく見えますね✨

One of the locations for the photo shoot is Fail Murakami, where MOIRA's shirts are sewn.
They also cooperated with us when we shot our branding movie.

The two models were given a tour of the factory before the shoot.
They took the tour seriously while asking questions.

We recently shot a branding movie.

She wore an eye-catching red shirt and an orange shirt with an all-over pattern.
The red shirt is decorated with fine patterns and gold, giving it an elegant and glamorous look.
The orange shirt was bright and "Genki" as the name of the product suggests.
