I love DADDY G, 3D and MASSIVE ATTACK.

We had a lovely break in Kyoto. Some of my fondest memories include the boat trip down the Hozu River amidst its beautiful fresh greenery, and the moment when DADDY G—who wasn’t particularly used to Japanese food—gradually got the hang of it and even asked for extra wasabi himself in Japanese (so adorable). As all three of us love food culture, every meal was a delight.
While DADDY G was enjoying the river cruise in Kyoto, back in London, 3D was being arrested for taking part in an anti-war protest.
What I’ve realised after spending so much time with Gee this time is that, obviously, it’s the balance between these two that makes MASSIVE ATTACK what it is.
I love DADDY G, 3D and MASSIVE ATTACK.
A night in Kyoto. The high-pressure show at LIQUIDROOM had finished safely, and I was so happy that I blacked out from drinking sake and rum – drinks I’m not used to – and had to be carried back to the hotel by DON LETTS and DADDY G, one on each arm.
Such fun days.
