Woman to woman talk.
we need to talk about planning for our children’s future.
Love is beautiful, but planning is protection. Too many women work their whole lives, build wealth, save money — only for their children to suffer later because everything was left in the wrong hands.
Let this be your lesson:
1. Make your children your next of kin.
Do not assume anyone will “do the right thing” when you’re gone.
Put it in writing. Make it legal. Protect your babies.
2. Set up a trust fund.
A trust fund ensures your money goes directly to your children, not into the pockets of someone who will remarry, misuse, or waste it.
Your money should educate your children, feed them, house them — not finance someone’s drinking, new relationships, or reckless lifestyle.
3. Choose a responsible trustee.
It does not have to be the man you are with.
Choose someone mature, dependable, and loyal to your children — not to their own interests.
4. Set clear rules on when your children access the money.
Most mothers choose:
at 18
at 21
or in stages (education, first home, adulthood)
5. Don’t feel guilty for protecting your children.
You are not selfish. You are not dramatic.
You are simply being wise — because many women learned too late that the wrong man can destroy everything they built.
6. Love with your heart, but plan with your mind.
Money brings out a person’s true colors.
A man can act loving today and change tomorrow. But your children will always be your responsibility.
Protect your kids’ future while you are still alive.
Your hard work deserves to reach your children — not be misused by someone else.
