The first FIVE days are crucial for laying the foundation for breast milk production.
Don’t be discouraged if you’re not filling bottles yet — you’re not supposed to! If you’re only getting a few drops or a few milliliters, that’s completely normal and part of the process. It’s important to keep breastfeeding, pumping, or hand‑expressing during these early days to help ‘program’ your body and brain for a successful breastfeeding journey.
