My dad built his beaded fabric manufacturing business from scratch when I was a little kid, and I grew up watching him make beaded fabric yards after yards for years.
As I grew up, I always asked him, "what made you start this business?" and he always told me that he wanted to make something that people would enjoy, and he loved whenever he saw his fabrics outside of his work.
After I finished my education in the US, I came back to Korea and joined his business, because I was always curious about his work. He then always told me that he wanted me to start something on my own. He said, you are still young and there are so many opportunities out there, to build something new for yourself.
I used to see his work back in the US time to time when I went to fabric or clothing stores, and I always felt proud of my dad and his work!
ooah was built and is continuum of my dad's milestone, and I also hope to bring joy to people just like how he did!
