Did ya'll know my maiden name is just 1 letter different from my hubby's last name?! LOL so I decided to just keep my last name, plus I don't want my future patients to be disappointed coming in thinking I'm chinese (choy) and learn that I'm actually korean (choi) 🤣🤣 these types of things shouldn't really matter in the grand scheme of things but I know I get really giddy when I get to meet fellow Koreans in the medical field heeheheheee

Anyway, I have a MAJOR sweet tooth (ie I eat cheesecake, macarons, and ice cream sandwiches for dinner when my hubby isn't with me to scold me🤣). So I have many many cavities (>20), several root canals, a number of crowns, an implant...it's terrible I know!!! But, I've been like this ever since I can remember🤷‍♀️ My mom would have to hide any type of sweets on the tops of our cabinets when I was younger, but I've always been an expert climber, so this was very ineffective. The point is...I'm a frequent flyer of my local dental clinic. And, I was very pleased with the comprehensive treatment plan came up with, they coordinated with an OMF surgeon for my surgery, and are really good about sending me appt reminders☝️

Yesterday was World AIDS Day 🌎 I’ve partnered with and want to thank them for helping to spread the message about AIDS awareness. As a future physician, I want to share the methods of prevention and treatment available to help end the HIV pandemic. Don’t be silent! Talk with your partner about the last time he/she/they have been tested, be open with your physician. We now have life-saving antiretroviral drugs that suppresses the Human Immunodeficiency Virus to undetectable levels—extending life spans and preventing subsequent sexual transmission of the virus.
We also have pre-exposure prophylaxis aka PrEP, a single pill, that when taken daily can reduce your risk of HIV acquisition by >95%. We also have emergency post-exposure prophylaxis, or PEP—when taken within 3 days of exposure and for an additional 28 days, can stop the virus from proliferating exponentially, resulting in permanent infection. And, please use condoms and pair it with other options like PrEP to maximize your protection.

Hi all! Just wanted to share with you my (temporary) blue hair🤗& my newest hair care obsession from the biosilk therapy miracle 17 spray--of the 17 things it's advertised to do💁it's a heat protectant and deep conditioner and smells AMAZING!!!
