🕊️ Godzilla vs. Kong Star Kaylee Hottle Dies at 18

American actress Kaylee Hottle, best known for playing Jia in Godzilla vs. Kong (2021) and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024), has died at the age of 18 following a car crash in Maryland on July 21, 2026.

Hottle, who was deaf and a native American Sign Language user, was praised for her authentic portrayal of Jia and became an important figure for deaf representation in Hollywood. Her death was confirmed by her father and the Texas School for the Deaf, where she was a student.
