About LehgoRide
LehgoRide is a ride-hailing service built for Monrovia. Riders book a car, kehkeh, or motorcycle from their phone, and drivers on our platform earn from trips in their own city. Booking a car should not be a luxury. Our aim is to make transportation more comfortable and convenient.

Monrovia is a city people navigate by landmarks, community, and local knowledge. Something like "behind the Total Station in Sinkor", "the second turn after Barnersville Estate junction", etc. Our platform has to turn that into something a driver's navigation can follow and a dispatcher can measure distance against. The Locations Operator is the person who does that: mapping the city block by block, naming each one the way people who live there name it, and marking exactly where a vehicle can actually stop.

You are not digitising a map that already exists. You are recording knowledge that currently lives only in people's heads.

What you will actually do
Draw and name blocks. A block is the piece of ground enclosed by roads on every side. You will draw them on a map in our admin console and give each one the name people say out loud. For example, the community it belongs to and the district it sits in.

Place access points. This is the part that changes whether a trip works. An access point is where a car actually stops, like the gate, the junction, the end of the footpath. It is often not the same coordinate as the place itself. Without it, our dispatch measures the straight-line distance to a point no vehicle can occupy, sends the driver whose route is longer, gives the rider an ETA that omits driving around the block, and ends the driver's navigation somewhere they cannot pull over.

For each access point, you will record what our software has to know to choose between them:

which vehicles it serves, like car, kehkeh, motorcycle
whether it is usable at night
whether it is usable in the rain
Those last two are not decoration. A sand track that is fine in February is not a route in August, and an unlit alley that works at noon is not somewhere to leave a passenger at ten at night.

Verify addresses. You will hold the permission that marks a location as verified, and riders and drivers treat a verified address as correct. That is real authority over what the platform tells people, and it is why this role is its own job rather than a task shared around.

Correct what is wrong. Drivers and riders will report addresses that do not work. Investigating those — including going and looking — is part of the job, not an interruption to it.
