We hereby applaud Zambian football star Fashion Sakala jnr who plays for Al-Fayha FC in Saudi Arabia, for coming through for Carol and her children with a generous contribution of MK1.3 million today, making total contributions to MK2.3 million from yesterday.

After watching the heartbreaking story we shared just two days ago about Carol, a survivor of gender-based violence who lost both hands at the wrists, Sakala was deeply moved. He mentioned that he has been following our work on this page, and Carol’s story touched him in a way that compelled him to act.

His support will go a long way in restoring dignity and stability for Carol and her children.

This is what humanity looks like. Thank you Fashion!

At 13, Victoria was surviving on her own; working piece jobs, paying rent, and carrying burdens no child should bear.
But her story changed:

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐫!

The Mary Mount Secondary School Alumni Class of 2001, led by Dr Serah Msimuko, paid a heart-warming visit to Lilongwe NeuroCare Centre in Likuni, donating food items and K200,000 cash to support children with disabilities and their caregivers.

The donations included cartons of First Choice milk (particularly useful for children who have difficulty swallowing solid foods), cartons of U-Fresh laundry soap, Surf washing powder, ten crates of eggs, salt, 24 litres of cooking oil, bathing soap, and ten bags of maize.

Inspired by our work on social media, the group—made up of professionals from various fields—chose to turn the Christmas spirit into action.

Citizen Impact Foundation Founder and Director, Rodwell Lumbe, expressed deep gratitude, noting that the support will go a long way in sustaining the centre’s holistic care services.

This beautiful gesture reminds us that the true meaning of Christmas is found in compassion and uplifting the most vulnerable. 💙

Disability is NOT a target. 🚫 PROTECT AND RESPECT US!!!

We are on the ground for Day 11 of the .

We joined the march from Bingu National stadium to Parliament Building to ensure that the voices and vulnerabilities of people living with disabilities are heard, acknowledged, and defended.

We are pushing for a change, fighting for a difference, and building a better, safer Malawi where inclusion is the norm, not the exception.

Put a heart 💜 if you believe in a fully inclusive Malawi!
