Traditional kurung pahang songket tenun tangan sulam emas of over 30 years belongs to late mother’s reconstructed into modern kebaya corset in deep maroon for her reception, transforming heritage woven songket kurung into dramatic sculpted peplum silhouette.

We created the two-piece ensemble features 4 layers of corset-paneled bodice constructed tapering sharply into a cinched waist flares out sharply over hips that exaggerates the natural curves creating a “new look” peplum shape. Embellishments of heavily combination of maroon & gold beadwork in sulam embroidery lace around the neckline & edges of peplum flare. Skirt anchors the look with a sleek, fitted column silhouette poise her statuesque frame.

Take a look the creation details, custom made kurung moden adorned with our new wedding 2026 elements; beading & pearls embellished one by one by hand on base and lace, while petals stitched into delicate mini bouquets & teardrop pearls in corded lace catching romance as the beads sprinkles over kurung. Detailed of 3D butterflies embroidered organza is individually placed & balanced naturally on corded lace border hem and sleeves.

Finished with 3D butterfly veil appliqués concentrated along the edges, creating airy & floating effect of whimsy butterflies softened into movements. 🦋
