My little angel is still the toughest to befriend. 3 solid days babysitting was fun. I have made her obediently pickup “rubbish” and throw in the bin to which she happily applause herself. She said she is a “moo man”, in German, a “rubbish collector”. She is so inquisitive that often I had to makeup the answers. My baby granddaughter, Johanna. See you again soon.

Another early morning flight and its always a challenge. Packing and unpacking, laundry and dobi. And the toughest is to choose what dress to wear for every event that comes…..but life has to go on even at this age. Trying to put on the best smile everytime although barely can lift a leg to take another step. Cheer up and take it one day at a time❤️ to my inspiration.

One great significant event when a wedding is held in the village is the day of making pinupis ie “aco ngelupis”. We had hundreds of people over to help wrap the glutinous rice. This time we made only about 80kg. of glutinous rice.

This pinupis (or others may spell it like penupis or kelupis) is to be distributed to the guests who are coming on the wedding day itself.

Another great day before the actual wedding day.
