【To all the graceful and determined women out there: It's never too late to start anew】

They have shone brightly in their careers;
They are mothers, daughters, bosses, teachers—
But in our handmade jewelry class, they take on a new identity: students.

Five accomplished women from different fields
walked into the first class on black and white beaded necklaces with a bit of nervousness and excitement.
“We’ve never done anything like this before.”
“I’m too old to learn this.”
We heard these voices, but we also witnessed their transformation from “I can’t” to “I did it.”

There were moments of clumsiness, beads rolling off the table…
But no one gave up, no one laughed—only encouragement and laughter.

Leading them was a teacher on the brink of retirement,
