Do you all know that there are different types of inks? 😱
Yes. Today, we would like to share the difference between two common types of inks that people usually used to produce a tote bag. 🌺
🎨 Water Based Ink: Water and pigment are the two main components of water-based inks, which are manufactured using water rather than plastic or PVC. Being a more environmentally friendly option is one of the key characteristics of this kind of ink. Because water-based inks absorb into the cloth rather than just rest on it, the print is more breathable and smoother. When printing on light-colored cotton, with intricate designs, and when muted colors are desired in the final print, water-based inks work best.
🎨 Plastisol Ink: Plastisol ink, which is frequently used in clothing/bag printing, is composed of PVC particles floating in a liquid plasticizer. It is incredibly flexible and long-lasting. Plastisol is opaque and thick, and it mixes readily to produce about any color that can be imagined. We can generate unusual effects like suede, glow-in-the-dark, glitter, shimmer, or metallic with plastisol ink. Plastisol works best for printing designs that are bright and less detailed, and it is most frequently used on dark-colored textiles.
