Pagoda Kingdom is a small, independent kids clothing and lifestyle brand, owned by Swee Diong & Daniel Metcalfe. All of our designs are carefully curated from exclusive hand-illustrated prints and design details that are inspired by the beauty and the richness of each land. From the Land of the Rising Sun, to the Pearl of the Orient, to the Spice Islands and beyond, our designs are always unique,

fresh and exciting. We believe in producing garments that speak of comfort, quality and functionality. Swee Diong, a fashion design graduate from the prestigious Kingston University in London is the creative force behind the brand. She combines both her talent in design and illustration to bring about art to product. Pagoda Kingdom believes in giving back and supporting causes close to our hearts by illustrating and highlighting the endangered animals in the Eastern Kingdoms. We hope that we can 'Save the planet one brush stroke at a time' through the sales of our products. Follow Ikann, our flying fish mascot, as she journeys across the kingdoms in search of new adventures.

🌞The beginning of my next collection of designs is on the way…

My illustration design process always starts with research. A thought process that has been with me from when I was in design university. Gathering historical facts and then translating it into my illustrations. Finding nuggets of gems and beauty along the way.
I have learnt so much in the process, and it makes me respect and value the different countries and cultures around me. 🌺🌾🪷🌼
I hope you will enjoy my creations as they unfold in each collection. 😊

Pagoda Kingdom’s love for sun bears has been there from the very start of the brand. I regularly draw inspiration from the sun bears in my artwork, and it only seems right to give back where I can.
This year, under their Share Adopt program, I am proud to call 7 of their magnificent bears my beary kiddos!

I hope to delight you and send you over the moon!

🌺 As many of you know, my journey with Pagoda Kingdom began with creating illustrations for my childrenswear collections. I cherished every moment until the challenges of COVID-19 pushed me to explore a new direction.

🌞 In December 2024, after much thoughts, I made the exciting decision to pivot towards paper products, bringing my colorful and whimsical designs to life through greeting cards and limited edition art prints. I’m thrilled to announce that I have plans to expand my gifting range in the near future!

♥️ I am incredibly grateful for your support during this transition; it has truly guided me back to greener pastures.

Since launching my paper goods, many of you have asked where to find my work. I sincerely apologize for the delay in launching my online store, as it’s taking longer than expected, but...
