TIPS TO KEEP YOUR HIJAB FROM SMELLING
Wearing hijabs is an integral part of Muslim women's dress code, and they come in different materials, sizes, and colors. While hijabs are meant to provide modesty and cover the head and neck, they can also be prone to odors caused by sweat, pollution, or other factors.
Here are some tips to help keep your hijab from smelling!
1. WASH YOUR HIJAB REGULARLY.
One of the most effective ways to prevent your hijab from smelling is to wash it regularly. Depending on how often you wear it, you may need to wash it every few days or once a week. Use a gentle detergent and follow the care instructions on the label.
2. AIR OUT YOUR HIJAB
After wearing your hijab, hang it up to air out before storing it away. This will help to prevent odours from developing. You can also place your hijab in an area with good ventilation to allow air to circulate around it.
3. USE A DEODORIZING SPRAY
Consider using a deodorizing spray or fabric freshener to keep your hijab smelling fresh between washes. Be sure to choose a product that is gentle and safe for use on delicate fabrics.
4. AVOID STRONG PERFUMES
While it may be tempting to use strong perfumes or fragrances to mask any odors', these products can make the problem worse. Instead, opt for unscented or lightly scented products that won't clash with your natural body odors.
5. STORE YOUR HIJAB PROPERLY
Proper storage can also help prevent your hijab from smelling. Store it in a clean, dry place, away from dampness or moisture. Avoid storing it in areas that are prone to odors, such as the kitchen or bathroom.
