THANK YOU FOR THIS Edward Adabo
Saying politics is only about interest, titles, or political ladder is exactly why the FCT has remained marginalized for decades.
Leadership is about capacity, courage, ideas, and genuine representation, not where someone is βallowedβ to start from by political elders.
β
βWith due respect, this argument sounds less like concern for the FCT and more like envy of the growing relevance and acceptance of MC Ezekiel Dalhatu among the people. When someone begins to resonate with the masses, suddenly we are told he must βgo and start small.β
β
βThe Senate is not a retirement home for former governors or an exclusive club for political elites. It is a place for those who can articulate the peculiar challenges of the FCT indigenous people and defend our interests nationally.
β
βAs youths, we must stop discouraging competence and bold leadership simply because it disrupts old political comfort zones. The FCT deserves representation based on merit, vision, and performance, not envy-driven comparisons or gatekeeping..
