🌸 **The Forgotten Fabrics** 🌸
For years, I let my shop become a home for *forgotten fabrics.*
Beautiful ankara, satin, and lace — folded neatly on my shelves, waiting for clients who never called back.
Some dropped them with excitement — “I’ll send the balance tomorrow, just hold the fabric for me.”
Others picked styles, made promises… and disappeared.
Days turned into months. Months became years.
And every time I looked at those piles, I felt a quiet ache — reminders of misplaced trust and wasted space.
When I’d reach out, I’d hear the same thing:
*“Don’t worry, I’ll get back to you soon.”*
But soon never came.
Then one afternoon, while cleaning my shop, I looked at all those dusty fabrics and realized something powerful:
👉🏽 I had built a **storehouse for people’s delay, not a studio for progress.**
That day changed everything.
I restructured my business completely.
✅ No fabric stays more than one month in my shop.
✅ If a client doesn’t pay or sew within that time, their fabric is dispatched back — at their own cost.
Because I learned that holding onto other people’s indecision only blocks the space meant for your **growth and creativity.**
Some fabrics aren’t waiting to be sewn — they’re waiting to be **released** so your hands can create something new. ✂️✨
