If you still believe this government deserves another chance for whatever reason, then you are indeed heartless. Yes, if you still think this government should be given another chance, if you are still defending this government, then you don't have a soul. It means you do not care about the lives, safety, and well-being of Nigerians.

And remember, tomorrow, if something happens to you, no one will contribute money to rescue you from captivity. No one will bear the pain for you.

Some people are in the comment sections saying, "There is nothing we can do. Even if we have our PVCs, our votes will not count." Fine. No problem. But if votes do not count, then why are politicians spending billions buying votes? Why are they investing so much money and effort to influence elections? I do not believe votes do not count. But if that is your mindset, keep it to yourself.

Another group will say, "Who is better than Tinubu? They are all criminals." So because they are all criminals, we should continue to suffer? We should continue to die? We should not even attempt to choose the lesser evil? We should not support the person who appears to have more integrity? We should simply sit back and allow Tinubu to keep destroying lives because, according to you, everybody is the same. Is that your solution?

Then there are those who say we need a revolution, while others say, "If you go out to protest, they will kill you." But people are already dying. People who are not protesting are dying. People going to school are dying. People trying to earn an honest living are dying. People who stay silent are dying.

At some point, you have to decide what kind of person you want to be. You can choose cowardice, or you can choose courage. You can choose to spend your life living in fear, or you can choose to stand for something.

If you are still in Nigeria and still living in fear, then it is time to open your eyes. There is no need to be afraid. The fear we have carried for years has been their greatest weapon. The day they realize that Nigerians are no longer afraid, that is the day they will begin to fear us.

Enough is enough.

What does it feel like to be an average Nigerian youth in your 30s?

To be someone who once had dreams, ambition, energy, and hope?

Many of us grew up believing that if we studied hard, graduated, worked honestly, and stayed focused, life would eventually make sense. We believed education would open doors. We believed hard work would pay off. We believed adulthood would look better than this.

But for many people, reality came differently.

Years after graduation, some are still searching for stable jobs. Some are underpaid and overworked. Some are surviving, not living. Some had dreams of building businesses, industries, creating solutions, starting families, owning homes, traveling, or simply living comfortably, but the system kept pushing those dreams further away.

And the painful part is that many people are not lazy.

People are trying.

People are talented.

People are educated.

People are skilled.

But there’s only so much a person can do in a system that constantly works against them.

An average Nigerian youth today is carrying exhaustion, uncertainty, pressure, and silent disappointment. The cost of living keeps rising. Basic things feel like luxury. People are working harder than ever and still struggling to breathe financially.

Sometimes you even start questioning yourself: “Did the country fail me, or did I fail myself?”

That is the painful part of it all.

Because when a system repeatedly limits opportunities, delays growth, frustrates effort, and makes survival harder than it should be, it doesn’t just affect the economy — it affects people’s confidence, dreams, mental health, and hope for the future.

And yet, every day, millions of Nigerian youths still wake up and keep trying.

That strength alone deserves to be acknowledged.

Why is it still so difficult to access physical PVCs in Nigeria, even when elections are close?

Every election season, people suddenly start searching for missing PVCs, wrong collection centers, or cards that were never properly distributed. The process always feels stressful and disorganized.

Last election was supposed to be my first time voting. I had previously lost my temporary PVC during NYSC, so I registered again and did everything required. I queued, verified my information, and was told my physical PVC would be available for collection.

But when it was time to collect it, I moved from one center to another searching through piles of PVC cards, trying to find mine. I never found it.

Despite that, I still had my e-PVC and my name was on the accreditation list. On election day, I woke up very early because I genuinely wanted to vote. I wanted my voice to count.

But I was turned back because I didn’t have the physical PVC, even after explaining everything I went through trying to get it. They saw my name. They knew I had registered. But I still couldn’t vote because of a system failure that wasn’t even my fault.

It was painful.

If voting is truly important, why isn’t PVC collection more accessible and continuous? Why can’t there be active centers where people can easily collect their cards instead of waiting until election periods?

People are willing to vote. The system should not make it harder for them to do so.

A man from Southern California has pleaded guilty in court after admitting to sexually abusing his biological daughter. Prosecutors said he gave her alcohol during a visit to his home, which played a role in the incident. The case is especially tragic because the young woman later died by su***de.

Stephen Vincent Chavez, 41, admitted on Monday, May 19, to one felony count of in**st and one misdemeanor count of providing alcohol to a minor. The charges relate to abuse involving his 18-year-old daughter, Makayla.

The case has sparked public outrage after reports revealed that Chavez may serve only about three years in state prison if sentenced as expected.
According to prosecutors, Chavez changed his scheduled court date in order to enter a guilty plea. He also admitted to abusing the trust placed in him as a parent and targeting a vulnerable victim.
Investigators said the incident happened in July 2025 while Makayla was staying with her father in Moorpark, California, after moving from North Carolina to start a new life.

I have been watching how people talk about relationship scandals online, and one thing stands out to me.

A lot of people quickly turn it into a fight between men and women. Some say “men are like this,” others say “women are like that.” Some even say it is a man’s world and men can do whatever they want.

But I don’t think that is the real issue.

Both men and women can do wrong. Both can cheat, lie, hurt each other, and also do good things. So it is not about gender. It is about character and choices.

What worries me is how people use these statements to excuse bad behavior. Saying things like “men are polygamous” or “that is how men are” should not be an excuse for wrongdoing. Wrong is still wrong.

No matter who is involved, we should learn to call things what they are and hold people accountable.

Also, we should remember something deeper. One day, every one of us will stand before God. At that time, no excuses, no gender, and no public opinion will speak for us. Only our actions will matter.

So instead of fighting men vs women, we should ask ourselves:

What is right?

What is wrong?

And how should I behave as a person?

Because in the end, we are all responsible for our own choices.
