🔴 WORLD SIGHT DAY🔴

👉 Today, October 10th, 2024, marks , a global observance celebrated every year on the second Thursday of October to raise awareness about eye health as a global issue. This year, we focus on one of the most vulnerable groups "Vision for Children". The theme is a call to action to address the urgent need for eye care in children across the world.
👉 Right now, at least 450 million children globally have a sight condition that requires treatment, and 90 million are already living with some form of vision loss. These numbers underscore the deep inequity in access to essential eye care. Vision is not just about seeing; it’s about learning, growth, and opportunity. For children, clear vision is the foundation for a brighter future.
👉By prioritizing children’s vision, we are investing in healthier, more equitable societies. No child should be held back by something as preventable as vision loss.
👉 Join us today in raising awareness and making Vision for Children a global priority.
