Behind every finished garment is a story that few people get to see.
This piece was created as my final project at Prudential Fashion Academy P F A 👩🎓 (Est. 2020) , and it represents months of learning, growth, resilience, and dedication. What you are seeing here is the result of countless late nights, little sleep, moments of doubt, problem solving, and a commitment to bringing a vision to life.
For this project, I chose to create a Northern traditional bridal outfit, transforming plain Saqi fabric into a bold, elegant, and refined masterpiece. Every stage of the process was carefully crafted from pattern drafting and garment construction to the hand-painted details that created the beautiful orange-to-gold ombré effect. The intricate beadwork was added to enhance its beauty and celebrate the richness of our cultural heritage.
This project challenged me creatively and technically, pushing me beyond my comfort zone and teaching me the true meaning of perseverance. Today, I look at this piece with immense gratitude and pride not just because of the final result, but because of the journey it represents.
To my instructors, mentors, classmates, family, and everyone who supported and encouraged me along the way, thank you. This achievement is a result of hard work, passion, and the grace of Allah.
