A fashion designer has to be intentional, calculative, and willing to apply discretion — especially when you’re working with limited information.

For this piece, the client only sent a measurement to complement the ones I already had, and there was just ONE fitting when she received the outfit.

That’s where experience comes in.

You study the measurements, understand the body, calculate your proportions, anticipate how the fabric will behave, and then make informed decisions based on the experience you’ve gathered over the years.

Because sometimes, fashion isn’t just about following measurements.
It’s about knowing what to do with them. ✂️🖤
