Today marks the 15th anniversary of the passing of Dr. Maryam Babangida , a woman whose grace, vision, and unwavering commitment to uplifting women continue to inspire generations. Her legacy has deeply shaped my journey and my work as a fashion creative, reminding me that purpose and impact must always walk hand in hand with creativity.

Receiving the very first Maryam Babangida Fashion Award last year was a profound honor I hold close to my heart. Her spirit of excellence, dignity, and service lives on in all that we create. At Younass Collection, we will always remember and celebrate her enduring legacy.

A special thank you to for courageously continuing her mother’s legacy, for championing and supporting women across Nigeria, and for your personal support, belief, and encouragement in my journey. Your strength and dedication are truly inspiring.
