Una know say I no dey watch movies just to be entertained
I dey always have a take home moral 👌
I took time to watch the complete movie yesterday and honestly, I was wowed 🥺
Big credit to the producer because this movie wasn’t just for entertainment, it carried deep lessons too.
Now make I put mouth where my business enter 😅
Monica started tailoring from a very young age and she was already good at what she did. As she grew into a beautiful woman, she still held on to her tailoring work.
But because of family responsibilities, she missed many opportunities that could have transformed her business and taken her dreams far.
Years passed and she still remained at the same level. No real growth, no fresh ideas, no improvement… just the same old methods and struggle.
Everything changed the moment she decided to upgrade herself. Her mindset changed, her work improved, and she started seeing things from a different angle.
She became open to new opportunities and eventually made history, even at an advanced age.
Her vision changed, her thinking changed, and that was how she finally broke out of that limitation.
So what am I trying to say?
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you are feeling stuck in this fashion business like Monica, maybe because of underpricing, lack of confidence, fear of taking certain jobs, or maybe work no just dey come because you still need to sharpen your skills… consider UPGRADE!
And before you ask where the money will come from, upgrade no be only physical training. If you can’t afford physical classes yet, start with online courses. Just make sure you keep learning something new.
Fashion changes every day, so if we want to stay relevant in this industry, we must continue learning and improving ourselves.
May the God that remembered Monica remember us too 🤲😂
