NURTW Chief Beats Dispatch Rider to De@th on Lagos Island, Arrested by Police A

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a senior member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Shamsideen Adio, for allegedly beating a dispatch rider to de@th on Tapa Street, Lagos Island.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred on Wednesday after a minor clash between Adio and the victim, who was accused of scratching his vehicle. The argument quickly escalated, and Adio, reportedly joined by some of his colleagues, descended heavily on the rider, beating him until he collapsed.

A journalist, Chris Nwandu, who shared a video of the incident on social media, described Adio as notorious for similar violent attacks on tricycle (Marwa) operators in the area. He alleged that just days earlier, the suspect had assaulted another operator who ended up in hospital.

A police source confirmed that the rider succumbed to the injuries sustained in the attack. “The victim died from the beating, and the suspect has since been arrested. He is currently being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department,” the source said.

The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, could not be reached for official comment as of the time of filing this report.

I just watched a video of a woman who said she was employed in a school to teach. The school insisted that teachers cannot come to school with infants because they will distract the teacher from work, they however agreed for her to drop the child at the school’s crèche and the fee deducted from her salary which she agreed.

She said she had gone to drop her baby at the creche, stepped out of the crèche to see the proprietor and by the time she returned 15 minutes later, all the children were deeply asleep, all of them at the same time. The ones yet to fall asleep were looking like zombies.

These are kids she left 15 minutes ago, they were all active and playing. We all know how it is trying to get todlers to sleep, and these teachers claimed the children just coincidentally fell asleep at THE SAME TIME.

She got suspicious and started questioning them, raising her voice. Yet none of these kids woke up at the sound of her voice.

Apparently, they were giving these children medicine to sleep! What level of e vil is that? How can you keep dřųggįng people’s children left under your care?

Please be mindful of the schools you enroll your kids. Observe your children whenever they return from school, do not ignore any thing that feels off.🤦🏻‍♀️

I hear he has been arrested! The Man who filmed 3 young boys getting shot to death.

On September 16, 2025, soldiers of the 34 Artillery Brigade, working with other security agencies, arrested Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, also known as Gentle de Yahoo, at his hideout in Aku-Ihube, Okigwe LGA, Imo State. Security operatives said they recovered a pistol, rounds of ammunition, uniforms, mobile phones, and also discovered a workshop allegedly used for dismantling stolen vehicles.

Gentle de Yahoo had recently gone viral after a video showed him executing three young men who allegedly used his gun in a robbery. Authorities confirmed that he is now in custody, and investigations into the case are ongoing.
