STORYTIME 💃
We are all STRONG.
Sometimes we don't know how much strength we have until we faced things that we think we can't be able to do.
A client reached out to me to recreate a beading design for her. On seeing the design I was skeptical because I don't know how to really draw so well and the time frame seems so short for me to complete this job. As a result I wanted to decline the work. Having done some beading work for her before she told me madam Chika you can do it nah. Within myself I had doubt.
Another day she reached out and said please how much will it cost, I did my costing and got back to her. Her response was I will get back to you. Meanwhile I was hoping she doesn't get back to me. Boom!! Two days later I got a call from her to send my account details to make initial deposit of which I did.
At this point I can't go back, I started practicing how to draw so that I will recreate the design as seen. I pray too because this happens to be one of my first major beading work. God was indeed faithful 💯
I got the needed materials for the job, made my sketches on the fabric and that was how work began. The work includes beading the front, back and the sleeves.
Seconds turns to minutes, minutes turns to hours, hours turns to days and days turns to week. My night became day because I was up working to give my best and meet up with the estimated date. I remember loosing some designs because it wasn't good until I got the best.
All thanks to Jehovah I deliver the job before the agreed date and my client was so happy. When she saw the work she said this is beautifuller😂😂 that was how she also got me a drink 🍻💃🥰
