My Papa!!
There are men who walk this earth carrying wealth, and there are men who walk this earth carrying joy. The first leaves monuments of stone, the second leaves monuments of hearts.
He belongs to the second kind. His richest question is not “What do I gain?” but simply, “Are you okay?” a small phrase that carries the weight of oceans. In that question, he gathers our silences, our unspoken battles, our hidden tears, and he holds them gently as though they were sacred.
Wisemen say that happiness is not a destination but a way of walking through life. He has chosen that path deliberately, not for himself alone but for all who cross his way. To him, a smile is not a fleeting curve of the lips, it is proof of hope, a reminder that even in the darkest night, light can still be coaxed into being.
What is greatness, if not the ability to lift another? What is nobility, if not the quiet strength to make another soul lighter? He understands this truth deeply. His life is a mirror reflecting kindness, his presence a gentle hand steadying the fragile places in our spirits.
To eulogize him is not to list achievements, but to remember the countless smiles he has sown in secret. He reminds us that the highest calling of a man is not to dominate the world, but to make the world less heavy for another.
In every “Are you okay?” he has left behind a philosophy: that humanity is richest when we belong to one another. That love is not just loud , it is consistent. That true legacy is written not on marble, but on faces lit up with joy.
He is a rare man, a quiet vessel of kindness, who teaches us that the greatest gift one can give is simple make another person smile.
Thank you Sir Jerry Uchechukwu Eze
