When a mother is on the process of weaning a baby, it always appears ugly. The baby’s cry for a breast milk can break one’s heart and it take a great courage for the mum to continue the weaning process until the baby have mastered his/her new phase of feeding.

So also it is in our daily life as an adult. God sometimes do put us in the weaning process to unravel the greater being in us to face the approaching phase of life ahead. This process is most times very uncomfortable and excruciating. But if we can endure this process through the end, we will only have a cause to be grateful of the outcome. There is always a reason for every circumstance that comes our way. If you cannot change it, then learn from it.

ACTIVATING GOD’S HANDS TO YOUR TROUBLES

Irrespective of our intellectual ability, race, size, or be it social status, there comes this time in our life when it appears like we can’t do it on our own. Trouble’ as people will say, is inevitable in a man’s life; but a Man standard will be defined on how he handles his tussles. There are many ways a man can solve a problem; but as a Child of God, you are not allowed to rely on your own wisdom or strength; simply because there is a limitation to human understanding.

Now let’s look at this interesting part of the proverbs.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

According to the passage above, it has been acknowledged that every man will always have an idea on how to go about his problem and this is dangerous to man. So no matter how knowledgeable you are, see yourself as a learner that rely on his master’s direction. Though you may device your way, but let God direct your step (Proverbs 16:9).

When we cry to God to take the wheel, we meant to be saying, “God, I can’t do this on my own, my hands are not strong enough to handle the wheel” meaning, God, my understanding has or will fail me’ Direct my path.

At this point, the question is, are you not still relying on your own understanding? (Are you not still holding the wheel?)

Remember the position of your hands on the wheel is the same position God is meant to take over. So if our hands are still on the wheel, we are still not ready to give up on our strength. This time, faith is what we need to trust God, not only to take over the wheel, but also, to drive us to victory and direct our steps to his glory.

So,

Don’t say, Jesus take the wheel from my hands, but rather, Jesus, I commit my wheel to your Hands. Faith is all we need.

A MUST READ SHORT STORY THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR MINDSET IN 60 SECS (click here to read on a well formatted text http://goo.gl/UqkT6c)

It was 7:30 pm in the dusk on a cool Friday evening, and many shop has closed for the weekend reunion. Mr Raman, a medical doctor that lives in the outskirt of the town was driving back home on a high speed when suddenly, he heard a loud noise from the back of his car and behold, the noise was from one of his rear tires that exploded. He went to his spare tire behind his boot, but it was deflated. Mr Raman was still 10 kilometres away from his home and there was no hope of getting a help at the sight. He was just about reaching for his hand phone when he heard a deep voice asking him, what is the problem with your car gentleman?
He made a sharp turn behind him, and behold, it was a young mechanic with a big spanner that scared Mr Raman, until he noticed a soft smile on the face of the young man. He then replied with a deep breath; I just got one of my rear tires damaged and can’t find any car workshop at sight: can you help? The young mechanic without haste made way to his tools and got his damaged tire fix and Mr Raman was pleased that he paid the mechanic above his due. Mr Raman drove back home successfully and thanking God for bringing a help at the point it seems impossible. The young mechanic went back home with a great joy and thanking God for bringing a kind man of Mr Raman that paid him above what he expected at the point it seems it was the end of the day. Above that, it was the only service he was paid for on that fateful day.
Moral lesson: Just as the tire of Mr Raman exploded that gave the young mechanic the only service he was paid for, God can allow some certain situations to happen to us just to provide an aid for another. But He has promised never to abandon us and we should have full confidence in Him to always deliver us from troubles. God works in a way we cannot comprehend and we should learn to trust him to bring up the miraculous even in the time of troubles and at the point it seems impossible.
