Tuesday Tailoring Tips for beginners

Your first outfit doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to be finished.

A friend just started learning to sew and whenever I make a post of an outfit I made she will DM me and say " This tailoring work is not easy ooo, when will I ever get to this stage" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My answer : We were all there once and still learning. Just don't be afraid to make mistakes. Practice!! Learn, Unlearn, Relearn.

Many beginner tailors spend so much time chasing perfection or looking at experienced designers work (s) that they never complete projects. It all takes process to get to perfection👌👌👌.
Everyone started somewhere step by step, if you miss a step you may never get it right.

Every crooked stitch, uneven seam, and fitting mistake is part of the learning process.
The tailors you admire today became skilled because they kept sewing, not because they got everything right from the start ☑☑☑
Keep cutting. Keep stitching. Keep improving. Your next outfit will always be better than your last.
