A customer sent me a message last night.
She asked, "Can you come before 8am?"

Me: Yes, I can. I will be there before 8 am.

And yes, Latter Clothing got to the place a few minutes before 7 am. (We don't accept "No" or "Impossibility." We will always find a way to deliver your goods to you).

Latter Clothing delivered a bulk order to a first-time customer last weekend, and honestly, the story behind it means even more than the order itself.

On Saturday, I received a call from someone I met during my service year (2024/2025). She said someone had asked her where to get tie-dye fabrics in the market.

Her response?
“I don't know where they sell in the market, but I know someone who sells.”

And just like that, Latter Clothing was recommended, and called upon.

We showed up, delivered, and made sure our customers received their fabrics with excitement and satisfaction.

After everything, I paused and reflected…

What if I had stopped selling tie-dye?
What if I had stopped posting Adire and Kampala?
What if I hadn’t built a good relationship during my service year?

So many “what ifs?"

But this experience reminded me of something powerful:

Consistency pays. Relationships matter 👌🏻.

See some of the beautiful fabrics we delivered and yes, my “stressed but fulfilled” face after the hustle 😅.

PS: Sometimes in the journey you ask yourself, "Who sent you?" Nonetheless, we don't quit or give up here.

So, last week Friday, Ms. Ojediran Dorcas carried out her personal CDS Project titled, "She Thrives" where some students were taught different kills.

Tie-Dye was one of the skills the girls learnt, and Latter Clothing was present to train these children.

I love the fact that the children were willing to tie the fabrics themselves. Yes, they were first of all taught the theoretical aspect of tie-dye.

After explaining to them, the enthusiasm arose in them as they said, "Aunty, you mean you are going to divide the fabrics and allow us to work on them. Don't worry we'll do it as you have told us."

We had a challenge of getting water, but the students assured me by saying, "Aunty, don't worry, we will get water."

The joy in them made them look for water without wasting much time and they tied the fabrics using different methods themselves.

I will gist you all of the last fabric that was dyed... It's not in the video below.

Being a dark skinned woman, I know bright colours are good on me

But I don't like wearing them ☺️.

Wearing clothes like yellow, CALLS FOR ATTENTION in the midst of the multitude.
You see that attention, I dislike am ehn 😫.

So, I decided to add a green dye to this yellow shirt.

The outcome made the shirt look cool though 😊.
