How I Started My Hair Brand — My Journey
I didn’t set out to build a hair brand. It started with something simple: I made a wig for myself because I wanted to feel confident, beautiful, and put-together. I remember the first day I wore it out — the way it made me feel was everything. But what I didn’t expect was how much attention it would get.
Girls kept stopping me, asking, “Who made your hair?”
And when I told them, “I actually made it myself,” their eyes lit up. One girl asked if I could make one for her, and that moment changed everything for me. I didn’t realize it then, but that was the beginning of something bigger than I imagined.
I made her wig with so much love, care, and intention — the same way I made mine. When she wore it, she came back with so much excitement, telling me how everyone complimented her and how confident she felt. Then she referred someone else… and then another. Before I knew it, my work was traveling farther than I was. My name was being mentioned in rooms I had never walked into.
My brand didn’t grow because I had a big plan or a huge launch. It grew through referrals, through women who felt beautiful and wanted other women to feel the same. Every wig I made became a story, a connection, a little seed that bloomed into something meaningful.
Today, my brand is built on passion, authenticity, and the belief that when you pour your heart into your craft, the world feels it. I started with one wig for myself — now I create pieces that help women express themselves, boost their confidence, and step into any room like they own it.
